For my Computer Illustration final, our teacher gave us three weeks to do whatever we want. I knew I wanted to challenge myself and learn how to make a gif. I also wanted to use papercut again so I decided to merge the two and have a traditionally papercut background with moving elements done in photoshop.

It took a lot of trial and error(emphasis on the error) but I really like the final effect. As I mentioned before, I started by making a papercut shadowbox and taking photos. I then took the images into photoshop to color certain things(like the trees) and add the moving elements. 

I will definitely try this technique again at a later date :)
